If RG III is coveted, does that mean Johnny Manziel will be a hot property, too?

No. You can't trust Manziel to show up to practices or meetings. You can't trust him not to piss hot for blow. He's not a leader and seemingly not even a good teammate. Not employable. RG3 at least could be a backup.

It's actually $16M over 4 years for #Vikings & S Andrew Sendejo. They were in safety market, linked to Iloka, others. Does this change that?

Drew Brees has the leverage to become the highest-paid player in football, if he chooses to use it http://wp.me/p14QSB-9ZNO

Report: Broncos offer Brock Osweiler three-year deal worth more than $45 million http://wp.me/p14QSB-9ZNY
Greg Jennings released by Miami. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300...suh-misi-deals
Wow...based on what? 7 starts, less than half a season, at the end of which he got lifted for a taped-together Manning. I have to think the Broncos know something from camp performances, etc. It kind of reminds me of the extension Rodgers signed during his first year starting for the Pack.

Have to figure he's done. Might get a vet minimum somewhere, but I doubt it.
Agree. Unless highly guaranteed, $15 mil per year is probably bottom of the barrel for a vet starter who you WANT to be your vet starter (ie. not counting backups who start games).
I guess $15 million just doesn't buy what it used to!
He probably at the right level, money-wise, and if it doesn't have many guarantees, probably a low risk gamble for the team.
I'd feel better about this quote if it was from someone other than Peter King, but I am hoping he had a good source.Quote:
Free agency this year is going to be a great test of discipline by teams. This is not a good year to plug huge holes. The receiver group is weak, as is offensive tackle, cornerback and interior defensive line. History says teams that have money will spend it. This is why free agency traditionally is very good for the above-average player. A few non-stars, such as Chiefs cornerback Sean Smith and Ravens guard Kelechi Osemele, are going to get rich. And that traditionally has been one of the things about free agency that so many teams hate. Above-average players getting paid like stars.
