    Green, Gado, or the Pooper?

This is like the only position that's set. Who is gonna be the man in 2006 getting all the carries?

My money is on Gado with Green getting the 3rd&1 plays + passes and Najeh relieving (haha) them.

LOL. Gado it is, I think. Or maybe they'll battle it out hard with each one getting 1100 yards this season. Put 'em both in the backfield and they won't know which one to block.

I think Green is gonna get every oportunity to show he is healthy. If so he will be the #1 guy with Gado backing him up. Could be wrong though. Davenport, maby a change of pace guy? Not sure there.

If healthy, I think Green will get first oportunity to get a majority of the touches. If he doesnt have the pop that he had in years past, I think the coaching staff will be quick to start a transition to Gado.

Hell, if Favre retires, we should just go to the wishbone and put all three in the backfield I'm joking!

I thought I heard talk of Najeh working more at FB.

    Both Green and Gado 50/50.

It's gonna look like the good ol days of Bennet/Levens again. Maybe we'll bust out the 3HB screen plays again.

I'm hoping that Green returns healthy. I think that would be best case scenario.

Green or Gado? That's a dilemma I don't mind having.

"Both/and" is always better than "either/or."

Good to see the Florida contigent in the house - welcome smuggler, Nick Barnett.

Truedat, FC. A Green/Gado combination, no matter what the configuration, is going to benefit the Pack.

Have to agree with that Harv..

If Ahman is healthy, you know he's going to be $hungry$ for a big contract, he's the best RB on the team.

Now if he's not healthy, the back that performs the best in camp will get the starting nod. I would love to see a tandem of backs sharing the touches, Gado maybe more of the running plays and Ahman the "receiver". He can catch and when he gets a head of steam, not too many DB's going to stop him mano-a-mano!

    Hurleyfan,

    Indeed.

I'm not sure if I've asked you this before, but what Hurley are you a fan of?

I got Green penciled in as the starter..Gado as primary backup..Davenpoop third..

I could also see Davenpoop play fullback some plays..He's certainly big enough, and that could add another dimention to our running game (Henderson has had 1 carry in the last three years, for -5 yards, so I think it's safe to say the fullback handoff has become a forgotten option)..I'd like to see it happen..

I think I would like to see this tried...... but I just dont know if he can stand up to the punishment. I realize he wouldnt be the primary FB, but he just seems too injury prone to me.

    Gado isn't that good!

Gado to me is pretty much a runner, haven't seen him catch the ball much. Green will probably start but I expect to see a lot more of Gado on 3rd and short. I'm a little confused about putting Davenport at FB, they already have Hendo & Leach, how many FB's do they need?
    Thanks Ted!

Green can't get all the carries. He never has. Unless they suddenly cured asthma. Gado will get his touches.
