ESPN's John Clayton shows love to the Pack

Nice piece even if mostly fluff. He also gave the Pack an "A" grade for the regular season:

All this praise almost has the feel like the kiss of doom.

Was watching PTI (I rarely do) and Kornheiser said the Pack was the best team in the NFC and Wilbon thinks that the winner of this game will represent the NFC in the SB and probably win it. He reluctantly picked "the home team".

Either way, whatever... this game can't come soon enough!

Local Minnesota paper both picked the Pack to win. Short of turnovers or critical penalties, I have a better feeling about this team going into the playoffs than I do the 2007 or even pre 2004 Sherman teams.

They just seem to be clicking on all cylinders and even when the offense mis-fires the defense seems to be there to stand fast until Rodgers and company take off.

I wouldn't put to much weight on any of those grades. Clayton says that the Vikings are the most talented team in the postseason (or maybe in the NFL--don't remember) solely on the weight of their NFL-leading 9 pro bowlers. Until someone can prove to me that winning a popularity contest is the equivalent of being talented, that argument bears no consequence.
