    What Detroit's loss means

Detroit's loss means that if the Packers and the Bears both win next week, the division crown and likely only playoff spot (a wildcard is a long shot at best) goes to the winner on the last week-end.

    I like that idea!

    We NEED Aaron Rodgers back!

We have a punchers chance at winning the Super Bowl.

We could do without Divine intervention.

Every time Favre talked about divine intervention with the Packers, he would go a throw a pick to cost us a game or something like that.

OK I'll never use those words again as long as were alive this season.

    SUPER BOWL BABY !!

Nope ... it's simply this week the Pittsburgh Steelers. That's enough !

I beg to differ. Respectfully of course.

But Divine Intervention is a pretty fucking good Slayer effort.

Released in 1994 in the midst of the Grunge era, when "Alternative" pop dominated, it was a brilliant sigh of relief in a vast sea of forgetful music from folks who sounded like they were crying in nearly every song.

It gave an open invitation to mosh some more. And the title track is a Slayer masterpiece in the most classic sense.

Probably not top 3 or anything but I dunno if I could do without as you've suggested.

After thinking about my term 'previously used':

I'll simply resort to the one we use back home 'in the Maritimes':

We've been 'Shit Ass'd Lucky'.... to see all this unfold over the past 4-5 weeks.

    May I safely add ?:

May the force be with us.

Who would have thought after the Thanksgiving game that with two games to go, the Packers would be in complete control of their own playoff opportunity. Win the next two, and the Packers are in the playoffs.

Let's hope the Pack handles success better than the Lions did!

We may have overestimated the NFC North a touch.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Yes, we mistook the Lions for a professional football team.

If Rodgers comes back next week and we lose will the TT and MM doubters second guess him for not sticking with the hot QB??
