Packer Poem
Wrote it when I was bored and figured why not post it on the Rats? Maybe Hawk will make it come true?
Crowned in gold
with grass stains camouflaged,
bloodied, but bold,
and tape wrapped around gauze,
the Will swoops down,
talons sharp and sanguine,
parallel to the ground
yards before the line.
A piled, grunting heap,
where the pork popped out.
Large mammoths growled deep,
yanked and tugged by without.
An arm brandished forward.
Claps of thunder surround,
applause with gracious words,
in the hollowed, frozen ground.
