Favre is within reach of setting the interceptions record--mainly because he and Marino have thrown so many more passes than any other QBs. However, I read an interesting stat in ESPN magazine (which I bet won't get played up much if he gets near the record--although kudos for ESPN The Mag for having it): Of the 26 QBs who have thrown 200 TDs or more, Brett actually has the 5th lowest interception rate (only Montana, Young, Marino, and Manning have lower interception rates). He's had 2 or 3 seasons where he's had big interception numbers, but his interceptions (for the amount of balls he's thrown) is historically low. You won't hear that from the national media much.
