1.8 seems a little much to me. I predicted 17-23. However, passing TDs have gone up a bit since the turn of the century (outside of a couple odd years). 25 TDs now seems to be roughly equivalent to 20-22 TDs in the first half of Favre's career, so it's hard to compare the TDs or TD rate to even 10 years ago.Originally Posted by The Leaper

QBs that threw 25 or more TDs in Favre's MVP years:
5 in 1997 (Favre's 35 TDs were 6 more than the next QB)
4 in 1996 (Favre's 39 TDs were 6 more than the next QB)
7 in 1995 (Favre's 38 TDs were 5 more than the next QB)
Crazy that over those 3 years, no QB came within 5 TDs of Favre in any of those years. That should spell out just how damn good he was in his MVP years. He not only led the league each year, he crushed the league.
