This website has a web-based application that checks your ISP's server vulnerability. There is a security issue that has come up in the media a few weeks ago and it affects how your ISP securely routes web traffic to you.

Long story short, if, after running this app, your DNS (Domain Name System) server comes up with a vulnerability, hackers could pose phony websites and route them to your browser. Check with your ISP to see what they are doing about it.

If they are clueless or aren't meeting your satisfaction, you can use a free service called Open DNS. http://www.opendns.com/. You essentially use your existing ISP to get online, but then use Open DNS's server to route the traffic to you.

The main goal is to keep phishing hackers and other idiots from getting to your personal data (e.g., financial records if you bank online, etc.)
