Good, that means Valentine will be back out there opposite Stokes
A bit inconsistent. But when he’s pimping, he’s pimping. Lest you forget, dude shut down Jefferson last season.
I get it, we are all taught to respect authority and all that shit - even burger flippers have to follow the rules/orders set forth by their “supervisors” or face consequences. But c’mon, man! A stupid coin toss! Ain’t like Pack lost a possession or anything.
Suspending your best corner with the season on the line over a fucking coin toss is stupid as fuck.
I'm not going to stop the wheel. I'm going to break the wheel.
I’m sure there is more to the story behind the scenes.
Actually, with the exception of the 2 games Stokes has played, he's been their worst corner. Opposing QB's have a passer rating of 120 when throwing his way. And he's sucked at tackling, having the highest missed tackle rate of all the CB's. He's sucked this year.

There are some RBs in NFL history with perfect QB ratings. Are they better at QB than Butte?
Sure, seems like the only thing J-Alex has shutdown this season is the coin toss. But he has also been injured, limiting his opportunities to lower that passer rating. And besides, even Jalan Ramsey gets beat from time to time - hell, Ramsey woulda been the goat of last week’s Cowfucks game had the Mermen offense not bailed him out.

Hockenson and Wonnum were put on IR -- yesterday I think?
ACL and MCL is bad news for the high priced TE and leading receiver for MIN
They will have Jefferson, and Osborn had a big day vs. DET. Addison will probably be a go as well, they're all banged up. They could trot 4 Randall Cobbs at receiver against this defense and I'd be worried.
Mullens was chucking it all over the place on Sunday, I think he had like 400 yards and 4 Ints. His wifey is pretty hot.
I'd expect him to get the start, unless they think Dobbs can pull a DeVito. (Hint: with Rashan incapable of edge-contain, he can.)
I have no idea how to predict this game. Entering their final 5 game stretch I had the TB and MIN games as the most concerning, then they crapped the bed against Devito and things haven't improved on D.
I think Love and Co. can move the ball on MIN, but I have no faith in Barry's D. The MIN34, GB 24 prediction sounds about right. Ends the GB playoff hopes and calls for Barry's firing become deafening, but with one game left does it matter? Not to MLF, who tearfully fires him after the season.
Spoken like a Jaire fanboy.
Look, I like Jaire and think that when he's dialed in he's still a really good CB. Maybe even elite. This year, even at the start of the year when he was healthy, he wasn't very good. I think most weeks he's tuned out Barry and is doing a lot of freelancing. They tolerated that because he can be good, but the coin toss thing was crossing a line for them. He's going to get razzed about that for years, just like Zadarius and his captain's necklace.
I'd prefer to have Jaire going into this game, if he was focused on his job. I just don't think he is. He's a flaky dude to begin with, but this year he's been even moreso. Whatever it is, his play has slipped this year. Between that, his injury saga, and this behavior, he might be more of a distraction than anything.
He's ranked by PFF as the 54th best corner, with a slightly above average grade of 65.4. He's probably the highest ranked CB on GB's roster, which is like saying he's the smartest moron. Being hurt, loco, and ranked as a lower-tier CB2 is not great return for being paid like the highest paid CB in the game.
He needs to get healthy, a new DC, and a fresh start next season. I hope that doesn't involve a trade, but if it did I'd understand. Smaller corners usually don't age well.

LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?
I wonder if a new DC will be able to solve the problem of “What the hell happened to Jaire?” Or if they’ll end up having to trade him.
And what could they get? Prior to the season, you might’ve gotten a low first, maybe, or at least a second. Now, after the kind of season he’s had, could you even get a third? I wonder.

Kind of a weird hunch here, but ja is a hippy meditation weirdo. Maybe there is some tension because he’s refusing surgery and the Packers paid the clown 100M and now he’s never going to be healthy because he wants to be all natural.
No basis for it other than it’s weird how his shoulder never heals and weird that they seem fed up with his shit.

I've had several thoughts this week as we prepare for a new year. How did "going all in" work out for the Broncos and Jets? Does Sean Peyton have shame for talking trash and then stinking up the field? Once Rodgers retires will anyone ever employ Nathaniel Hackett again? With so many injuries, would it benefit a team to hire a specialist for young players to learn how to prepare their bodies to play in the NFL. Is MiLF too soft? He wanted a "player led" culture when he was hired. Well, with the way Zadarius acted while here, Rodgers issues getting worse, Bak not playing more than a handful after getting paid, Alexander acting punkish etc, is it time to change that attitude? Would have a Mercedes called out some of these guys? Whoever we hire as our next DC better be a disciplinarian. And don't get me started on trading Rasul. Guy showed up to play. Guy was a good team mate. That trade still has Gutes on my Christmas naughty list.
