Reports are that Bates is signing with the Lions.

Will the kicking coach be the Master of Bates?

Maybe the Packers just want to keep scaring the Swedish boy.

Lots of talk about Rasheed Walker, about Jordan Morgan, even Sean Rhyan. Not a word about "I got rolled" Royce. Should be some intense competition on that offensive line.

I doubt Newman has much of a chance unless there are injuries to other O-linemen. He has a cap hit of 3.2 million due to contract escalators (Because he started 16 games as a rookie). They can save better than 2 million b going with a young guy.

Michael Thomas was my original comp on Doubs. 120 Catches for 1208 yards. 92 first downs. You heard it here first.

Good call! That’s a number 1 no doubt. Seemed like he never dropped anything and caught many most would drop.

Reasonable cases to be made for 5 guys emerging to be our #1.

    It's good to be us.

So you are predicting 120 catches for Doubs ?
LIFE IS ABOUT CHAMPIONSHIPS; I JUST REALIZED THIS. The MILWAUKEE BUCKS have won the same number of championships over the past 50 years as the Green Bay Packers. Ten years from now, who will have more championships, and who will be the fart in the wind ?

If Doubs can do for a full season what he did against the Cowboys in the playoffs he will have 102 catches for 2567 yards and 17 TDs. So no, not 120 catches.

That was Brees pulling a Rodgers to Davante thing with Thomas to get those numbers.

With the Packers receiver situation as well as Love's tendency to spread it around, I'm pretty sure none of them will come close to 120 catches - and it still will be a great season.

Agree. Barring injury, there are a lot of mouths to feed and there won't be many GB receivers finishing the regular season with more than 50 or even 60 catches. (Last year Reed had 64, Doubs 59, then Wicks at 39). 100 or 120 catches in this offense would be insanity.

You might be right, but not until late december.
