I would have accepted either Adams or Metcalf on our team. I’m slightly disappointed, but not after seeing the contracts they signed for.

Agree. Plus add the 2nd round draft pick for DK with the contract price and I think they'd be better off throwing a few darts at WR in the draft and signing a value FA this year with hopes that next year there is a better fit to address WR long term.

I would've loved DK on the Pack, but not at that ridiculous contract. $33 million per? No thank you.

yeah the 33 million is high price. I am not saying DK isn't deserving in comparison to other receivers, it's just a hell of a lot of money. Obviously the Steelers have a void at the receiver position. DK is going to a team with the same issues he is leaving Seattle for. Mid to bottom tier qb play, with a run centric offense.

Chris Godwin back to Bucs 3 years 66M chance to make 24 deal done by tory dandy. 44M guaranteed at signing.

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Khalil Mack is re-signing with the Los Angeles Chargers, his former team, on a one-year contract. Mack’s deal is reportedly worth $18 million in fully-guaranteed money, a number that puts him 15th among edge rushers in terms of average annual value.

The Chiefs appear to have found their new left tackle.

According to multiple reports, they have agreed to terms with former 49er Jaylon Moore. It’s a two-year deal worth $30 million for Moore.

Moore has spent most of his career as a backup. The 2021 fifth-round pick’s longest run as a starter was a five-game stretch during the 2024 season after Trent Williams was injured and he has made 12 starts over his four NFL seasons.

The Bears have made another move to remake their offensive line.

According to multiple reports, Chicago has agreed to a three-year deal with former Atlanta center Drew Dalman.

The initial reports indicate Dalman’s contract is worth $42 million with $28 million guaranteed.

The New York Giants agreed to terms on a deal with Paulson Adebo, per source. The former New Orleans Saints corner is still 25 years old, coming off a broken femur. -- Jordan Raanan, Giants reporter

The Titans are loading up on the offensive line, agreeing to terms with Steelers LT Dan Moore on a 4-year, $82M deal with $50M guaranteed and $30M in Year 1, sources say.

The deal done by Jeff Nalley of CAA is the biggest for a tackle thus far.

It's highly probable that all these teams throwing around the big money for WRs are gonna be regretting it. It is starting to look like the Packers have concluded that they already have a lot of quality on the cheap, and they're gonna stick to doing it with the draft, maybe not even in the first or second round. All things considered, I guess I'm ok with that.

    A big one per @tompelissero.bsky.social:

The Patriots are signing Carlton Davis, who gets a 3-year, $60M deal with $34.5M fully guaranteed.

Really wanted the Packers to go after Drew Dalman I assume his deal is no more than 4 years. 12-15 million is a lot to pay for a center, but a really great one pays back in spades.

Aaron Jones - 2y/20M with 13 guaranteed. Think he'll stay healthy for 17 again? I didn't think he'd do it last year.

The Metcalf compensation was too high IMO. Agree with Tex and others that teams will regret some of these signings. I think it's largely understood by teams that players are going to get cut 2-3 years into a 4 year deal, they just don't care. Paying a player twice what he's worth is not smart business, and I think GB is waiting out the big spending and will go for value.

Splash: The Patriots are taking the biggest defender off the market, as Eagles DT Milton Williams lands in New England, per me and Mike Garafolo.

Williams gets a $26M per year.

Eliot Wolf spending a lot of money as Patriots GM. Patriots have the most cap space of any NFL team.

Packers signing Aaron Banks to bolster OL. Does he play both ways and can rush the passer?

Wonder if this signifies that the Packers plan to roll with Rhyan or Jenkins at center and backfill their starting guard spot with Banks?

Trade: Texans are trading five-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle Laremy Tunsil to the Washington Commanders for a package of picks, sources tell ESPN.
    Adam Schefter
    @AdamSchefter

Source: former Falcons Pro Bowl DT Grady Jarrett — released today from Atlanta — already has found a new home, reaching agreement on a 3-year $43.5 million deal including $28.5 million fully guaranteed with the Chicago Bears. Deal negotiated by Todd France at Athletes First.
The Chicago Bears have agreed to sign free agent defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo to a three-year, $48 million contract with $32 million guaranteed, a source told ESPN amid multiple reports.
The agreement gives the Bears a pass rusher opposite Montez Sweat.
After losing out on former Philadelphia Eagles defensive lineman Milton Williams earlier Monday, the Arizona Cardinals made their first splash of free agency by agreeing to a four-year contract with another former Eagle, pass rusher Josh Sweat, his agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The deal with Arizona is worth $76.4 million including $41 million guaranteed.
Free agent Justin Fields and the New York Jets reached agreement on a two-year, $40 million deal that includes $30 million guaranteed, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Monday. The Jets are moving on from quarterback Aaron Rodgers, planning to release him when the new league year begins Wednesday. Rodgers has emerged as a quarterback option for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Fields' team in 2024, league sources told Schefter on Monday.

Rumor is that Nate Hobbs is our new CB on a 4yr 48million dollar deal. Seems high but maybe I'm missing something.
