I really don't either. In our case the kid's Uncle was raising them. They were feeding them and helping to take care of them all summer. After about 8 months of pleading, I gave in and let them each get a baby rabbit. Apparently it's very difficult to check for the sex of the rabbit until they are older. We ended up "accidently" getting a male and female. I pretty much lost all interest in them when I walked up to the cage one day and saw mommy eating her babies.Originally Posted by GoPackGo

We went from -15 one day to above freezing the next. It's called the pacific ocean.....it's stayed that way for over a week now. Of course by next week it will be -10 again and all our great snow will be gone.Originally Posted by Zool

As a kid, having baby ducks is much more entertaining than stupid rabbits. They're just as cute, easy to feed, and they'll follow you around once they like you. They're also much tastier once they grow up.

They were predicting snow for last night. I'm looking out my window at a dusting of snow--I can still see the grass. They have canceled school. There's not enough snow to make a snowman. I realize it's supposed to snow later in the day and tonight, but they can just send them home early. Duh. These people are the absolute worst at figuring out when to close the schools.

OMG - you can see grass? I'm jealous.
On the other hand, I can make snowmen with 3' balls and you can't
I am a little jealous...if the kids gonna have to stay home, at least it would be nice if we could go play in the snow...Originally Posted by GBRulz

The morons at the DOT and the city keep throwing out this sand/gravel mix on the icy roads that includes small asteroids and pieces of shrapnel to hammer the windscreen and front end of you're vehicle. It's like driving through a hail of bullets in any kind of traffic.....and to think I pay these fuckheads to do this.

This was always a therapeutic thread!
Ok...a local radio station started their annual tradition of playing Christmas music 24/7 starting Nov 1. Apparently, they thought the day after Thanksgiving was too late.
Last month (about Oct. 15), my son and I went to the home depot and were assaulted by a Christmas tree display upon entering the store. I was deeply offended. I agree with you. CHRISTMAS SEASON DOESN'T START UNTIL AFTER THANKSGIVING!!!!
