    He does make me want to throw up...I mean how is he this bad? TT drafts LBs and such to PLAY ST...BUT one caveat is that we have 30 injured LBs so that could be part of it!

    Slocum is not even OK. I like MM I think he is a good head coach that has done a great job picking assistants...except on ST.

    McCarthy = Slocum

    Sherman = Rossley

    I am really unhappy about that last kickoff return. How can the kick coverage team allow that kind of return on a kick that went three yards deep into the end zone?

    Slocum = Kurt Schottenheimer

    Look, I hate the job Slocum has done more than anyone, especially the way he has discouraged Crosby and the kickers from working with specialists.

    But honestly, with all the injuries the Pack has endured, Slocum has had to be a magician this year, and unfortunately, he ain't that. My guess is that he hasn't had an intact kick or punt return unit for more than three games in a row.

    I'm on board for firing the guy, but it's for reasons much deeper than his ability to get decent coverage on the ATL kick return. I almost give him a pass for that.

    I'm no fan of Slocum either but the revolving training room door has to be at least a partial culprit in our lousy kick coverage units this year.

    How about last year? Or 2008 where Slocum was Asst ST.

    I dunno. If they went from being ok last year to this, I'd be more willing to buy the injury bug reasoning.

    The players make the plays (or not in our case). Wilhelm's out of position so he grabs the facemask. The coverage is wretched. Somehow the accountability has to be on the players. I'm not saying Slocum is the answer. But look at San Diego. They had coverage and punt block problems. Their was a clamor to dump the ST coach. Their answer is to get the right guys in to cover ST. Now their ST are one of their strengths.

    I am not sure I would go that far. San Diego has been horrible on ST all year and this weekend played another team that struggles on ST (Colts). But I agree with even a mediocre ST result, the Chargers are hard to beat.
    Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

    Maybe they'll think twice about deactivating Donald Lee now.

    Havner will be out this week, so expect to see Lee.

    In addition, Chillar will be out and Pat Lee will be challenged to make it, per MM. Nance has a concussion, so he is uncertain. MM indicated Starks may get his chance. http://www.packers.com/news-and-even...9-25cbaff63061

    The revolving door is certainly valid reasoning, but it hasn't been great in the past. I say, for every ST fuckup, Slocum receives one steel-toed boot kick to the genitals. Same for officials and fuckup calls.

    Or maybe with these:
