There are some good goalies this go around. The Moroccan dude was impressive.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostArgentina might have the least impressive TEAM remaining. But they have Messi, and Emiliano Martinez might be the world's best goaltender in big games. Don't count them out.

Thanks for the info. My guts say go with France.Originally posted by pbmax View PostSpain's only problem this year is scoring goals. Their defense is lights out. Their best attacker/striker might be coming off the bench (Merino) if you go by goals scored. France is probably the best team overall but as Vince said Spain got them just last year.
Argentina might be the weakest as their form has been up and down like Messi.
England is strong but depends on whether you think Jude Bellingham is good enough to overcome a 60 year drought.

Has Spain played any of the top teams in this Cup? I don’t know too much about “futbol.” Can’t tell Ronaldo from Messi.Originally posted by Vincenzo View PostYou’re completely ruling out Spain which is something I just couldn’t do!
Consider that:
1). Spain has only let in one goal the entire World Cup.
2). Research just how strong Spain’s mid-field is. Without a doubt they control the ball at the midfield better than any team in the world.
3). Last Euro Cup Spain defeated France 2-1 in the Semi-final July 9th, 2024.
Haaland, however, I know. Somehow he has been showing up on my YouTube feeds. Eats like an actual Viking. Plays defense like 77 of the Lakers. Cool guy all around.
Is France unbeatable?

France + England: +475

Can’t lose, right?

Not as awesome as Erling Haaland.Originally posted by Joemailman View PostFor the first time ever, the top 4 ranked teams at the World Cup have all made the semifinals. It will be #1 France vs #3 Spain, and #2 Argentina vs. #4 England. Should be awesome.

I need France and England to win in regular time to win a 2-teams, $20 moneyline parlay (to win $106). It has to be regular time - soccer has this shit called “moneyline 3-way.”Originally posted by pbmax View PostWell, it's basically the favorites left. England versus Argentina, Falkland Islands 2. And France v Spain in the War of the Pyrenees 2.

Belgium played Spain very tough today. That loss looks a little better after a couple of days. It wasn't a good result, but Belgium isn't really a team on the decline so much.

I can only watch it at the top levels. Premier League and international competitions like World Cup and Euro. World Cup is better than Summer Olympics.
