I think early in that game we were up 14-0 and we went for a TD on 4th and 1 at the 1 instead of kicking a field goal to put us up 3 possessions. I think that failed attempt later persuaded Shermy to not go for it later in the game. Ughh. I just voted the Favre INT in OT against the Giants, but I think I'd like to retract my vote and put it on this game.

Really interesting thought there. Wouldn't have had to deal with losing twice to the Vikes this year. Really hope he plays at least one more season to give us a shot at revenge.Originally posted by JoemailmanGiants loss. Win and you're in the Super Bowl. Plus, if the Packers had won the Super Bowl, Favre might have really retired, and we'd have avoided all the bad blood of the last 2 years.

I said 4th and 26 but geez thats a good point. I yelled and groaned the loudest and longest at 4th and 26 however.Originally posted by JoemailmanGiants loss. Win and you're in the Super Bowl. If they reached the divisional round, they'd have been expected to lose to New Orleans. If they'd have won that game and made the NFCCG, they'd have been expected to lose to the Vikings. If they won THAT game and made the Super Bowl, they'd have been expected to get pounded by the Colts. It's easier, for me anyway, to swallow a loss when we're the underdog.Originally posted by packers11I'm actually kind of glad the packers lost in the wild-card instead of the NFC-Championship round / Super Bowl... That would be unbearable...
The Cardinals? That game we were expected to win. Losing a game we were supposed to win is always the toughest.Chuck Norris doesn't cut his grass, he just stares at it and dares it to grow
