I was surprised when I saw how we got into the playoffs...it came down to the fourth tie-breaker, strength of victory!
Because there were three teams tied with the same record, the 'head to head' tie breaker didn't apply. It has to be a sweep, and we didn't play Tampa. We all had the same W-L record in conference games, and not enough common opponents.
The next tie-breaker is the strength of victory. Someone posted a link to an article that gave the numbers, but I can't find it now. I know all three teams had a SOV of less than .500.
