I don't want Love thrown to the wolves against the Eagles on primetime in Philly. Its a tough venue and he would almost certainly struggle in a first start. Then the media and other people of lower IQ would insist he is a bust and this proves it....it wouldn't even matter if he performed better than Rodgers has so far. Unless we won the game and he looked awesome, that would be the national narrative.

Let Rodgers have this one. Hell, maybe he plays inspired on primetime to prove to us that our eyes have lied for the entire season so far. Its what guys like him do.

With Rodgers making the announcement that his thumb has in fact been broke this whole time he now has an out if he is getting banged up versus the eagles. Maybe the conversation went like this "Hey Arron, we need to trade Love but people have to see him play so would you get mad if we ....".

One has nothing to do with the other. Rodgers is the GOAT or near GOAT and they simply won't bench him if he can go. Love does not factor into that decision.
