At the same time, O'Keefe had a fondness for painting in the nude at her New Mexico Ranch. She may have revealed more "Skin" than Fonda did in Barbella.

In the early 80's, I had the opportunity to attend an educational seminar at her Ghost Ranch near Abiqiu, New Mexico. The ranch is surrounded by multi-colored cliffs. I can see why O'Keefe was attracted by the beauty of the place.
