What happens when you stop using their service?

What guarantees or safeguards are there that your intellectual property remains yours alone?

I'm obviously a novice. I'm just asking out of curiosity.
I use it as a 3rd level backup in case of worst case scenario (fire in my office destroying my computer plus the CDs/external HDs storing my backups). That way I can still retrieve work and not reinvent the wheel.

If I stop using the service, I don't think I will have to worry stealing my artwork. A lot of larger companies (Johnson & Johnson, etc.) use it for storing their web application programming for online applications. If they are comfortable with it, a penny ante graph. designer like me should sleep OK.

Besides it's DIRT cheap (we're talking about pennies per gigabyte). Only problem I could run into is if TimeWarner throws in bandwidth caps on my RoadRunner service.

We have used it to deploy some small web apps. It's a really nice service. We've been pretty happy with it. I intend to host my app on their someday. It's surprisingly quick for a virtual machine.

I'm going to use it to host my virtual cock. Then when my real one gets cut off by an angry biker, I can still slap all of you in the face with my google hosted virtual beefaroni.

I'm not saying best buy people are qualified (I was very good), I'm saying that I HAD customers come in (probably 10) in the year and a half working there that had fried their computers from power outages (brownouts, storms, etc) and most had used a surge protector.

That's not citing anything even remotely close to best buy employee = qualified to answer computer questions.

I just use an external drive to back things up. However, I do store my photos online for redundancy.
