Man - Weird Al is one of my all time favorites.
I first heard him on the Dr. Demento show. It used to be a syndicated broadcast that a station in Milwaukee picked up on Sunday nights from like 10pm-1am.
Laughed my ass off listening when they dedicated an entire 3 hr show to him and this was all before he recorded "eat it".
They had him in the studio performing some of his stuff live and all he had was a microphone and his accordion. Weird Al will put most any WI polka accordion player to shame. Dudes got serious chops.
That guy is the best parody writer, possibly of all time.
