picking on chuck. wow. he'll make them pay for that.

I love Woodson, but what on that drive makes you think that?

two completions in a row...one for a td.

No, I mean: Why do you think he will make them pay?

he's a play maker. he'll be looking for that back shoulder fade next time. he'll have another int today.

ThunderDan

Rodgers is missing some passes today as well; one easy one to Driver earlier and that wasn't even close.

Rodgers 13/18 for 141 yards. He has missed a couple throws and the refs jobbed him of a TD and like 40 yards.

You don't have to tell me that! The game plan from the onset was the problem .... "play not to lose".

Rodgers, however, needs to pick it up because the Packers or going to need a lot more points to win this game.

Looks like Woodson hurt his shoulder/arm on that tackle in the 2nd Q (where he came around the blocker and had a nice tackle).

He let up 2 or 3 throws and was around for a few tackles where he was playing with half his body.

I hope he's not playing out there at 50% - bc that doesn't help the long-term playoff cause.

Anyone?

Pack left 11 points on the board in the 1st half and haven't adjusted to Bear's defensive pressure or the Bear's passing attack.

Question is - should we blitz like we did in the 1st half or start to play some man?

If he has a minor injury - play. If it could turn out to be something bigger by not getting treated - then sit. We need him for 3 more games and hopefully the playoffs more than today...

The routes/throws were good - agreed. But there were a few times where he didn't wrap up with both arms around a tackle there... that's the concern.

Of note in this game.

Cedric Benson is having a fine day rushing Vs a very tough Viking run 'D'. He's up to 96 yards and the Vikings havn't allowed a 100 yard rusher since the Packers Ryan Grant did that two seasons ago.

BILLICK'S RIGHT!!! McCarthy was way to conservative with the play calling when they got inside the 25. Played for the FG; playing not to lose.

you gotta know your players as well. I'd have slightly less of an issue if we didn't have a suckass FG kicker.

Mason's FG, Jennings 4pts non-TD, Finley's fumble going into the half - at least 7-14 points left on the field by GB.

Keys:
- Match Bears intensity - they seem to get more geared up for this game than the Pack - Both teams seemed flat - Pack had a little more juice in 1st half
- Oline has to play solid again (<3 sacks), extra protection and schemes (screens, rollouts, drop off) to attack blitz holes - only let up 2 sacks, did well with Havner as extra protection - a few rollouts and drop off passes; not many screens
- Rattle Cuntler (3+ sacks, 2+ INTs) - Yes - 3 sacks and 2 picks (and about 4 near picks)
- Limit turnovers and penalties (2 or less; 8 or less) - Yes - 2 lost fumbles (one going into the half); only 4 penalties
- Provide over the top protection for TWill - didn't seem to need it but Collins did seem to blanket him
- Keep Forte to under 20 carries and 65 yards; Get Grant 20+, 100 yards and a TD; Forte - 12 for 51yds; Grant - 20 for 137 and 2 TDs; Double Yes
- ST will be important - Mason needs to hit his FGs and the kickoff/punt coverage needs to take their collective head out of their ass - Good coverage today - probably their best. Mason missed a key 42 yarder...

Intensity will determine the outcome. If Pack comes out, settles down the Bears and gets a quick start, it could be a big win. If we are flat or aren't matching intensity, it'll be a long day.

Damn - my keys were pretty money if I do say so myself.
