Holy cow. Two QBs the Packers have had in a row that can move and throw like they are in the pocket.

Great block by Colledge on that throw.

The Leaper

Bryan with a penalty. Is that four? Not a good start. But he's a rookie.

Give the kid a break...he has mostly stoned his assignment 1v1 to this point. Tauscher won't see the field again even when he's back to 100%.

Mr. T
10-10-2010, 12:43 PM
So... 3 FB's, 1 that can play TB, and 4 TE's, 2 that can play wing/FB.... Not looking like such a bad idea....

No pass rush at all from the Skins. I have to wonder if it's because their front 4 is that bad or does Bulaga stabilize the line that much?

I'm 100% with you on this one wist...I've lost pretty much all respect for McCarthy as a head coach at this point. He's a pitiful joke who gets by because the roster is so talented. Can't make the right call on a challenge EVER. Can't recognize our special teams coach needed to be fired over a year ago. He just is NOT a good head coach.

We look like what we are - an offense with no real identity and a defense that is just relentless at pressuring the QB.

It's easy to mask missing Burnett and Bigby when the front 7 keeps getting the pressure they get. Solid front 7 play, some nice reads and jumps by Woodson as usual.

Matthews, Jenkins, and Raji are too busy being the beasts they are to care what else is going on.

I wont say the guy calling plays is at fault for the offensive production. We constantly kept driving all first half. Not getting it in from the inch line on 4th isn't all on the coach. Generally, that woiuld be a PA toss up to Finley, who's hurt. Went to quarless and the ball wasn't over the top enough and hit the defender in the head.

Otherwise were up 17 - 3 and looking very pretty right now. Honestly, play calling and offensive production is way up. It's all about the fact we didn't get in on 4th down.

And who says that last play is all on MM? Sure as hell didn't look like driver was expecting the ball. Rodgers may have made the decision himself to dump it off to "pad stats" - because hail mary could be an int.

Just saying, at some point you can't just keep pointing fingers at the play caller when the players aren't even on the same page. There were apparent deep routes and RODGERS decided to quick throw it, not MM.

On O: Grant, Tauscher, Finley out
On D: Harris, Bigby, Burnett, Barnett, Chillar, Pickett, Shields out

And we dominated a team on the road.

Let's not get all bent out of shape. Let's play the same in the 2nd half and get away with a NFC Conference win (huge for tie-breakers) with 8 starters out.

That does show a lot about our depth if you ask me.

No reason whatsoever to throw a pass under 15 yards in that situation. None. It is entirely on McCarthy, because they looked short on first down when the ball slipped out of Rodgers' hands. If McCarthy didn't want to go short, he would've let Rodgers know at that point.

Actually, I'm guessing the refs may have said the pass was uncatchable by Moss...Woodson knocked Moss CLOSER to the path of the ball. Moss ran a curl, and the ball was thrown 3 yards to the left of him.
