its a freaking preseason game

Sounds like the Pack is kicking some ass.....morale should improve at Packerrats.....

Some sites are terrible. This one not so bad. This should be good for the team.

I just hope this can carry to Ohio next week. The Bengals are still a scoring monster and nothing takes the wind out of your sails like getting the score run up on you. Plus most teams seem to get a free ride at home in the pre-season with the visitors taking the 1st stringers out very early. Everyone needs to put on a show for the home crowd.

Favre through a high bullet to Jennings that deflected off his hands bounce 5yd into the hands of Buba in the back of the endzone TD

Should Jennings have caught that ball?

Sorry, no TV here, and I'm just logging on.

Scott, it bounced off of David Martin. Would have been a hell of a catch. He ran two yards, turned around and a Brett Favre high fastball was in his grill. Broken finger potential? Yes. Catchable? No.

Half time report............who's in charge???

Favre looks in vintage form. Driver dominated the Atl DB's. Hawk was active and made a tackle that flashed his coming brillance. Horton heard a who and Bubba was in the right place at the right time. Looking good tonight!!

Thanks esoxx. why they have had 2 bear games televised here and no Packer games is beyond me. I hate just following the radio.

I think it was David Martin rather than Jennings ... and he had 2 hands on it so I think he should have caught it. It was a very lucky bounce to Bubba who was running a deeper route in the back of the end zone. It could have caromed to a DB just as easily.

62 yards on the ground and 134 yards through the air. 196 yards Total. 24 Points!!!

Score 24-10. Its good.

That's OK !

It's only preseason but a win is a certain lift for the team and us.

I thought Jackson looked amazing for a Rookie agains the Raiders.

Bad thing for Johnson though. The first time he looks bad in a game they are going to start screaming in the dome to take him out and put Jackson in like the did with Cullpepper a few years back when ever he had a bad game. I dont think Jackson is ready to carry the load.

I could have sworn Rodgers was in the picture when the ball hit the ground. It was a lousy punt, but he was kicking from around the Packers 45 and hit it to the 18 yard line. It bounced backwards so it was high enough to get some back spin versus a shank that rolls. The PR was likely standing at his 10 yard line in that situation. Running up eight yards and catching it doesn't seem too far-fetched. Perhaps someone Tivo'd the game and can watch it again to see how far away Rodgers was when it hit the ground.

OK, just got back from visiting a friend at the Iowa State fair. Good to read all this. I don't hear much complaining about the interior O-Line, so that makes me happy. Favre's playing well, and my other thoughts from what I've read:

1.) Cut David Martin now plzkthx.
2.) I want to see what Ahman Green can do, especially after coming from that Nebraska (Huck the Fuskers) zone system.
3.) I hate state TV broadcasts, or rather, not being able to get them.
4.) Where are Marquand Manuel and Mike Hawkins?
5.) Hawk's playing like he should. Thank GOD.
6.) Who should we cut at RB? Here's a hint. His name is the same as a type of deck and he enjoys taking dumps in laundry baskets.

Well, I'm off to use a preseason victory as an excuse to celebrate/drink Jager. Thanks for the input, all.

Cyclone,

Manuel just started practicing this week. I don't think he's hurt. Hawkins has been in and out of practice with injuries.

Let the Kool-Aid pouring begin!

Yes, it's still just a pre-season game. But also a shot in the arm after last week. WHEW.

Great game! A glimmer of hope. Some nice picks, Hawk played well, so did Favre. The o-line was better.

Hurray! Congratulations Packers and Pack Fans everywhere!

I know its only Pre-season, but atleast they proved they can move the ball, they can run the ball (hope this gets alot better, its actually going to need to be better) and score points.

Wow, this was fun!
