mmmdk
12-02-2012, 01:54 PM
4th down makes sense to me! Wouldn't let CROSSBAR-BY kick either...

Not a beauty but 3 it is.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 01:54 PM
I love that they cheer him un-ironically. Know, say unlike Favre, that Crosby needed a pick up.

Not sure I would have kicked it.

gbgary
12-02-2012, 01:54 PM
lol...all the mock cheering.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 01:54 PM
Ok Mason, hope that helps. not banking on it - even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and a while

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 01:55 PM
gotta kick the fg, if you didn't trust him he shoulda been gone.

Good call!

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 01:55 PM
MM made the right call, you can't play with a neg. attitude.

woodbuck27
12-02-2012, 01:55 PM
Ohh it's GREAT to be a fan.

Mason Crosby had that 47 yarder 'all the way'. :???:

Maybe TT and MM just need to take him out to lunch!? Buy him a small gift.

Vikings 14 - PACKERS 13

pbmax
12-02-2012, 01:56 PM
lol...all the mock cheering.

Really? I thought the opposite. It was mainly enthusiastic.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 01:56 PM
Damn, that kick off was beautiful

pbmax
12-02-2012, 01:56 PM
Nice play by Burnett. He's not all world but it athletic. Still miss Collins.

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 01:57 PM

Mason Crosby had that 47 yarder 'all the way'. :???:

He is paid $3+ Million to make kicks, use him or cut him.

mmmdk
12-02-2012, 01:57 PM
McCarthy is now a gambling coach; which isn't a good sign!

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 01:57 PM
how many of Masons misses have been of the 50+ variety, way too many....MM has abused this kicker

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 01:57 PM

Agree, but not the time to fire the coach. Could be the week to replace the broken kicker.

Really? I thought the opposite. It was mainly enthusiastic.

It sounded like real cheering to me

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 01:58 PM
Ok Mason, hope that helps. not banking on it - even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once and a while

I thought his lucky nut was the 1st FG made.

Teamcheez1
12-02-2012, 01:58 PM
I wonder if AP will get the ball on this drive?

pbmax
12-02-2012, 01:58 PM
Applebees?

:D

KYPack
12-02-2012, 01:58 PM
Jesus Christ, we are luckier than hell to be down by only a point.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 01:59 PM
Raji at least is giving it his all on run plays.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:00 PM
I would like to buy House and Hayward a gift card for Applebees to eat with Mason tonight.

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 02:00 PM
Rams losing 7-2. Probably not a tie this time.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:00 PM
Ok Cobb, forward not backward....fair catch, ok, I'll take that

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:01 PM
Really? I thought the opposite. It was mainly enthusiastic.

probably was a mix but I think a lot of fans were really cheering trying to pick him up.

As a fan I understand mock applause or whatever if you're team is having a shitty season, but when you have a chance to be a contender you try and pick up the guys who are struggling. Negativity isn't going to help anyone. You need the Crosby of the previous seasons to show up. Don't need to bury him further.

woodbuck27
12-02-2012, 02:01 PM
Great that their resting AP. They lose all day with that.

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:01 PM
everyone go vote mason to the probowl, maybe that will lift his spitits!

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:01 PM
Really? I thought the opposite. It was mainly enthusiastic.

I heard it as sarcastic. like when a hockey goalie's been bad and finally makes a save...the crowd goes wild.

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 02:02 PM
Jesus Christ, we are luckier than hell to be down by only a point.

Two missed tackles on AP and a phantom holding on Lang and it is Pack up 17-0.

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:02 PM
Jesus Christ, we are luckier than hell to be down by only a point.

how do you figure, vikes have done nothing except 2 plays

mmmdk
12-02-2012, 02:02 PM
I hope Packers win 'cos I loathe the Vikings! And I hate that we're barely better than them but not good enough to be sure to win.

I like Rastak though...where is he?

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:03 PM
ugh.

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:03 PM
you really have to be kidding me

Your right but the bottom line is...Mason Crosby must deliver. As human beings we certainly must have compassion for his struggle.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:03 PM
Stupid throw. Double coverage. Fucking stupid in a close game like this

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:04 PM

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:04 PM

Teamcheez1
12-02-2012, 02:04 PM
That play looked bad from the start. MM you idiot.

Brando19
12-02-2012, 02:04 PM
Well that's not the trick play I was talking about earlier....

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:04 PM
AR can't throw that.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:04 PM
That seals it. Packers will not win this.

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:04 PM
why is it we can't load up and stop AP????

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:05 PM
Arod just hasn't been good, the last 2 weeks. good thing Crosby has sucked or he would be getting more critcism

woodbuck27
12-02-2012, 02:05 PM
Ohh wow.Damned if you do...damned if you don't.

That pick on AR. That pass was a real long shot but he tried it anyway.

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:05 PM

Right here my friend! Clsoe game. Vikings have severe flaws so if GB doesn;t win this they are in deep trouble.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:06 PM
Mike Daniels can beat a TE block anyway.

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 02:06 PM
Daniels, the rook I picked would be the biggest disaapointment this year.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:07 PM

Joemailman
12-02-2012, 02:07 PM
AR can't throw that.

Look at the bright side. Heck of a punt!

Brando19
12-02-2012, 02:08 PM

I was calling for Cobb to throw it...he may have hit Jennings! ;)

Rastak
12-02-2012, 02:08 PM
Well hello stranger. Unfortunately your flaws don't include a meager pass rush.

I've seen better, I just found out this morning Allen's been playing with a torn labrum.

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:08 PM
D's keeping us in it. the O has to do their part.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:09 PM
OK, why do Packer lineman keep leaving the RB on the ground and head back to huddle? Leftover of no huddle?

woodbuck27
12-02-2012, 02:09 PM
Right here my friend! Clsoe game. Vikings have severe flaws so if GB doesn;t win this they are in deep trouble.

Hi Rastak....that's what we're afraid of..Packer flaws being more severe than Viking flaws.

Da BEARS just went back up on top of Seattle. 14-10.

and .... Packers get their 3rd rushing TD of the season on a nice run by Starks and he doesn't do the Lambeau Leap he was so excited !!!

PACKERS 20 - VIKINGS 14

Will we see a good dose of AP?

mmmdk
12-02-2012, 02:09 PM
ST, coaching & offense are killing us! D is doing better and our only hope today! AD is HOF RB, so stuff it blind squirrels.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:10 PM
I've seen better, I just found out this morning Allen's been playing with a torn labrum.

Sounds like Norse propaganda to me!

Rastak
12-02-2012, 02:10 PM

They aren't.

Teamcheez1

Barclay is no Allen Barbre.

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:10 PM
Starks you bitches!

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:10 PM

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:10 PM

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:11 PM

Dammit. Patler was right again. Don Barclay was the key to everything.

Jimx29
12-02-2012, 02:11 PM
WTH was that?

Rastak
12-02-2012, 02:11 PM

Jay Glazer thing....probably true.

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:12 PM
Dammit. Patler was right again. Don Barclay was the key to everything.

I think it's Crosby. He hit a FG and suddenly the Pack are unstoppable.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:12 PM
WTH was that?

Touchdown?

Running play?

Successful wide running play?

Blocking?

Joemailman
12-02-2012, 02:13 PM
Has Barclay played well enough that MM might move Lang back to LG when he's healthy?

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:13 PM
another nice kick off for a touchback. Is the wind helping?

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:13 PM
hey a running game

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:13 PM
Jay Glazer thing....probably true.

Yeah, have to give Glazer that. He doesn't just spew agent talkingpoints.

mmmdk
12-02-2012, 02:14 PM
Right here my friend! Clsoe game. Vikings have severe flaws so if GB doesn;t win this they are in deep trouble.

Sorry, don't hate your team! Hate losing to your team!

Great to hear from ya!

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:14 PM
Damn!

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:14 PM
Has Barclay played well enough that MM might move Lang back to LG when he's healthy?

It has not been clean in pass pro and I think M3 has changed the playbook. I would guess no, but who knows this season.

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:15 PM
another nice kick off for a touchback. Is the wind helping?

New section blocking the wind.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:16 PM
That looked hugely dangerous.

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:16 PM
Way to get beat and get hit by the pass Jones

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:16 PM
Way to break that up with your back Jones

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:16 PM
where's the fucking hold there?!?!

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:16 PM
And another missed hold by LT or LG on RDE

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:16 PM
Nobdody outside, Ugh!

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:17 PM

Teamcheez1
12-02-2012, 02:17 PM

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:17 PM

Yep, that's what I saw.

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:17 PM
Nobdody outside, Ugh!

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 02:17 PM

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:17 PM

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:18 PM
It has not been clean in pass pro and I think M3 has changed the playbook. I would guess no, but who knows this season.

Actually, pass pro hasn't been pretty but its been cleaner than the technique looks.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:18 PM
FUCKK FUCK!!!!!!! Pick up that Fucking Flag. NO WAY!!!

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:18 PM

Teamcheez1
12-02-2012, 02:18 PM
Refs are absolutely horrible this game. When can we bring back the replacement refs?

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:18 PM
Helemt to helmet.

You have to SEE what you are hitting. Its not tough to coach.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:18 PM
NO WAY!!!

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:19 PM
Hell yeah Burnett!

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:19 PM

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:20 PM
Thank you Burnett. Now wehre's the flag for that, you fucking overpaid refs. Fuck you!!!!

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:20 PM
ponder sucks

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:20 PM
Decent pressure, produces less than stellar throw. INT/ Seems like a plan.

mmmdk
12-02-2012, 02:20 PM

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:20 PM
Helemt to helmet.

You have to SEE what you are hitting. Its not tough to coach.

Led with his shoulder, I thought.

Joemailman
12-02-2012, 02:21 PM
Burnett has had a real combination of bad and great plays today.

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:21 PM

more a great play than a gift.

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:22 PM
time to bury these fuckers

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:22 PM
again..nobody open. tons of time to get open and it just don't happen.

woodbuck27
12-02-2012, 02:22 PM
Yup AP....another missed tackle 23 more yards and he goes over 200 yards on the day (210 yards)

but our Saviour on the day is Morgn Burnett with his SECOND PICK IN THIS GAME.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:22 PM
C'mon Rogers, you take off earlier, you get more yards.

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:22 PM
time to bury these fuckers

Hell yeah

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:23 PM
Starks and Green both running hard today.

wootah
12-02-2012, 02:23 PM
more a great play than a gift.

true, but put a mediocre QB in there and the game was already out of reach for us.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:23 PM

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:23 PM

pittstang5

Fuck, another flag. Typical for this team at times.

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:24 PM

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:24 PM

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:25 PM
3rd and long. no shot.

woodbuck27
12-02-2012, 02:26 PM
With that nine (9) yard rush by Starks we just went over 100 yards rushing on the day.

pbmax

Need to wait sometimes, though it was cluttered.

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:28 PM
FG would be huge here.

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:28 PM
Need to wait sometimes, though it was cluttered.

I thought Starks did the right thing there though.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:28 PM
3rd and short, let's go deep

oops again lol

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:28 PM

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:28 PM

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:29 PM
Cobb was open early in that route but no pulled trigger.

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:29 PM

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:29 PM
3rd and short, let's go deep

oops again lol

Much love to you pitts lol

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:30 PM
I thought Starks did the right thing there though.

Yeah, it was close. There was at least one Vike who likely wasn't getting blocked in pursuit. Hard to say it was a bad choice.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:30 PM
Aikman, shut the fuck up

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:30 PM
You go nuts Finley. You deserve it.

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
and here comes the fin!!

Packers4Glory
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
Fin sure to drop his next pass after he does those celebrations.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
Way to fight Finley. That's what I want to see!

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
Finley getting back into the O would be huge for the end of the season and the playoffs.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
He's just like Jones. Needs to be a hard catch to his body while jostled by defender.

Joemailman
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
Great play by Finley to fight for the yardage.

LEWCWA
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
Aikman, shut the fuck up

no shit huh!

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
No chance there.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:31 PM
Ugh!

gbgary
12-02-2012, 02:32 PM
Cobb was open early in that route but no pulled trigger.

I think he's been doing that a lot...passing up a short throw for the longer one that ends up not happening.

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:32 PM
This has been an 8 minute drive already. Wow.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:33 PM
Aikman did have a larger point. Allen didn't beat Newhouse until Rodgers stepped up and left to avoid pressure from his right. Then Allen's inside move, which Newhouse had corralled, paid off.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:33 PM
Finley getting back into the O would be huge for the end of the season and the playoffs.

Playoffs, you want to talk about Playoffs.....Playoffs!

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:34 PM
I think he's been doing that a lot...passing up a short throw for the longer one that ends up not happening.

My working hypothesis on this today is that pressure in general, esp up the middle has trained him to bail on middle of field too fast. Like he feels like it won't work because he can't step into throw.

woodbuck27
12-02-2012, 02:35 PM
Nice effort by JerMichael Finley to bring Mason Crosby into solid FG range.....pressure....NO WAY !

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:35 PM
3rd and long. no shot again

Cheesehead Craig
12-02-2012, 02:35 PM
Wooooooooo!!!!

ThunderDan
12-02-2012, 02:35 PM
Playoffs, you want to talk about Playoffs.....Playoffs!

Yeah, if we finish this game off we are a lock and I think we catch CHI.

pbmax
12-02-2012, 02:35 PM
Newhouse pancaked Allen after Allen slipped.

wootah
12-02-2012, 02:35 PM
If I was a woman, I would want Randall Cobb's babies.

pittstang5
12-02-2012, 02:35 PM
3rd and long. no shot again

I guess, I'll keep this up.

1st and 10 - No shot

OK Chiefs do win but if the Panthers didn't get close to wining getting down to the chiefs 8 yard line as time ran out.

BEARS and SEAHAWKS will go to OT as Cutler hits Marshall with a long pass to set up a FG to knot that game up. That pass was poorly defended by the Seattle secondary.
