Inexcuseable clock management. He did that in Atlanta 2 years ago too. Let's save 3 timeouts and have 12 seconds on the clock.
Maybe he thinks they will carry over since they have a habit of blowing timeouts in the second half.
I wonder if Stubby's ass is feeling warm yet?
i'd be willing to drive down there and meet him at the airport with a blowtorch

09-23-2018, 01:33 PM
why in the fuck would we want to stop the clock guy?
They had 2nd a goal. Either they score or they don't. Time was no issue for them. Why should we not want time to try and score before half? Should we just give up?
Too easy and makes too much sense.
gotta keep everything as old school as possible, except the game itself of course (no hard tackles)

At this point, I am almost willing to hire wist to tell them what is wrong with D.
But its doesn't seem that the 3-3 is helping much.
They had 2nd a goal. Either they score or they don't. Time was no issue for them. Why should we not want time to try and score before half? Should we just give up?
so we get the ball back with 30 seconds instead of 15?
and we give them to slow down, go talk it over and run exactly what they want?

If we call TO after 1st down there was a minute left. Then either they score or we stop them and call timeout again.
Would you rather have 50 seconds 1 TO or 21 seconds and 3 timeouts. We ran out of time and kept a timeout.

That's the problem pb. It's not an actual rule...it's just some fucked up inconsistent guesstimate that is being arbitrarily called with no rhyme or reason ...snip...
NFL Operations thinks its the rule:
NFL Football Operations @NFLFootballOps
This is a foul for roughing the passer - the defender lands “with all or most of the defender’s weight” on the passer. Rule 12, Section 2, Article 9(b): http://ops.nfl.com/4a8IbH #GBvsWAS
I agree with inconsistent.
