GREAT TO SEE A RUN LIKE THAT

That run had nothing to do with blocking, that was TOTALLY a result of all the play action fakes.

So we pass to set up the run to set up the pass? Makes a kind of sense...

We do everything backwards. :P

Just when Philly started to play well last week, they lay an egg like this one. Imagine the uproar in Philly if they do give the Fins their first win.

Why is Woodson still returning punts? What does Tramon Williams have to do to get some love?

b bulldog
11-18-2007, 01:48 PM
gb, the reason why Harrell woulkd be the reason imo is you can only spend so much money at group positions. You can't have your Dline taking up most of your money on D. It is just a numbers game. Look at the Oline, you can't pay your T's high $$ and than pay your G's big money. This is the reason why so many GM's let their G's walk.

Uh, hopefully you have the final 2 of the remaining Sankara stones, that way not even the power of Mola Ram can't mess with the stripping of a thread.

P.P.S. One more thing, football gods.... can we get ahead early so that we can maybe rest a few players? We do have another game to play in 4 days.

Either that or maybe Ricky will be cut after the Steeler game, and TT can find a helpful pickup for the running game.

I am preparing to dash off to Bufallo Wild Wings if they switch this game on me.

Vegas,

Timber's is a nice hangout if you're closeby. Upscale Packerbar on Hollywood Blvd.

When I say upscale, I mean it's upscale bar food. Couches are nice for ambiance.

Too far for a quick dash. BWW is only a mile or two down the road.

Right on Vegas! Have fun if you hit BWW. Sometime when you're closer to North Vegas by Sunrise Mtn, you should hit Timber's. I would have never thought a Packer bar would be located in that area. It's a nice hangout, I probably told you about it before though.

Crosby makes me a tad nervous

A 49 yard field goal isn't exactly a high percentage shot. Best he misses them when we're up by 25 instead of when we're down by 3.

That's true.

He's also had a blocked FG, and I think he missed 1 or 2 last week.

Those misses are both at home with little wind or other elements to alter Crosby's kick.

He kicked in Colorado so he should be used to the colder weather.

Interesting, the Panthers managed to score 7 points in 7:41 on that last drive. They trail by 18 and there are fewer than 18 minutes left in the game. They can have any draft that takes more minutes than it scores points they want at this point.

God, I am really hating to see Brandon Jackson replace Ryan Grant. He missed a huge running lane just to his left on his first run because he insists on dancing and waiting for a hole that just isn't there, while Grant would have either blasted his way through the plugged gap or cut left to exploit the huge opening there. I think Jackson is thinking too hard; trying to do exactly what the play is drawn up to do while Grant is better at improvising when the play breaks down or takes too long to develop. Whatever it is, the dropoff is obvious.

I agree. Steratore and co. are very slow with the whistle when forward progress is stopped, allowing too many "hold 'em up while I strip the ball" opportunities.

TTT should file a formal protest about Steratore's horrible officiating and send a clip of his ruling on that "pass interference" call before the end of the half.
