    Franklin is Done

    Jason Wilde ‏@jasonjwilde 3m
McCarthy says Franklin's status will be addressed by organization further tomorrow but his #Packers career is over because of neck injury.
Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

Meant we already have a thread on the topic but I'll give you a pass since yoga pants can distract any man.

    Franklyn tweeted this:
"Unfortunately this week I have been ruled out of returning for the 2014/15 season and returning to play in the NFL.
The way it's written is confusing as to him being out for the season or forever, but forever seems more likely. Sad to end this way, but hopefully it won't impact him in any future career. Hope he saved what he could from his signing bonus. Unfortunately what his little time with the Packers will be remembered for is one game that he ran well but fumbled away the game at the end.

I always liked the mayor (even though he was UCLA) and was really happy we drafted him. Best of luck.

During his pre-draft and post draft interviews, he kept stating he wants to be the mayor of LA someday.

Man, that sucks. Franklin seemed like a real good kid with high aspirations after his career was finished. Awful to have it taken away like that.

I reached the opposite conclusion - he can now follow his after-career aspirations. Good thing he has some.

I'm definitely glad that he had an idea of what he wanted to do after football, but not this way. Sounded like he wanted to try to make a big difference in his hometown, would have been nice if he had established a platform on which to do it.

    http://www.packers.com/team/roster/J...e-74b7454678a1

Former packers RB: Johnathan Franklin Fr. UCLA

    Quick Stats (2013):

    CAR = 19 ... YDS = 107 ... AVG = 5.6 Y/C .... TDS = 1

This is terrible that he's done so fast....that so suddenly his NFL career is appearing to be over.

    This one is pretty cool:

Green Bay Packers #15 Bart Starr Green Long Sleeve Throwback Collectible Jersey

Maybe? a Herb Adderley or Ray Nitschke or Reggie White or Don Hutson?
