Greg Jennings (ankle) missed Packers practice for the second straight day on Thursday and is not expected to play in Week 17.

Rookie James Jones, who quietly has 45 catches for 662 yards and two scores in his first year, is almost certain to see a full complement of snaps against the Lions' beatable secondary. Jennings' mildly sprained ankle isn't expected to jeopardize his availability for any postseason action. Dec. 27 - 2:23 pm et

    This kind of excites me...

Seeing JJ and Robinson on the field more... Even Martin will get more playing time...

Can't wait to see if they take advantage of this opportunity...

I agree...the other guys could use some reps, and the Detroit secondary is as good as any to practice against.

I also like the idea of resting the seemingly fragile Jennings.

Who will play the 5? Bodiford? Blackmon? Will we see Woody run a few routes at last?

                      Nall to Ryan Krause...

Actually, this would be a good game to get Bubba Franks eased back in. We could use him down inside the ten yard line...that fake handoff, then everyone goes right while Bubba blocks for a half a second then goes left...

When exactly did Jennings hurt his ankle?

I think the wind knocked him over.

I think it was tweaked when he was trying to push through the masses to get closer to the heater.
