Anyone know why the Packers have not worn any sort of throwback uniform this year?

Probably because the current uniform is a classic, and the throwbacks were ugly as hell IMHO.I can't run no more with that lawless crowd

I thought I heard on tv while watching a game that the Packers had decided not to use throwbacks because it was just another way to gouge the fans and they didn't think it necessary. They said that's also why the Packers don't use the ones with the C on the chest or the optional third uniform shirt.

Were they to go real throwback, I'd like to see "Acme Packers" on their chest, as a wink to their roots.
We'd have to have names and numbers on the back, but there have been throwbacks without chest numbers.I believe in God, family, Baylor University, and the Green Bay Packers.Comment
