  • THE FAVRE YOU WANNA SEE...

OK, so the Brett Favre you wanna see........

we've had Favre show up this year and just amaze us at 38 years old, breaking records, loving the game, being just... brett

but do we have the brett who will throw his body out there for someone to hit without throwin one up for grabs? do we have the same brett who will turn a breakdown into a touchdown whether it be a run on his part, or pass?... do we have the same brett that is careless and willingness to do whatever it takes for that lombardi trophy?....

these are some of the things i worry about now, cuz of the age factor with him

Sounds like you want Favre to be 15 years younger. Meanwhile, the older, wiser Favre is still playing at a level above most guys who are 10-15 years his junior. Why overlook greatness in a search for perfection? Just my two cents.

I think what Pacopete is saying is that he wants to Favre leave it all on the field during these playoffs. Being the #2 seed is no sure thing in any season. This is honestly the best chance the Pack has had to get back to the SB since 4&26.

One last run for the ages #4, thats all we ask. We know you have it in you.

I want the Favre of this current year, but there will come a time and he'll have to THE man...

Whether it's taking a hit, or leaving it all on the field, he'll need to step up and win a big game... He's one of the main reasons the Packers are where they are, but at some point this post season, he'll be asked to carry the team, and come up with a win...
My Two favorite teams are the Packers, and whoever plays the Vikings!

I want to see the Favre who leads the offense with short, passes leading to a ball control offense which has been highly successful this season. I want to see the Favre who only throws the deep passes maybe 3 times a game to keep the secondary from creeping up in coverage.

I want to see the Favre who plays with confidence and who looks like he is having fun being on the field.

I just wanna see the Brett that is fearless and will do everything he can to win a game.. yes make smart passes, but hey.. sometimes those plays he makes pulling them outta his ass are what got him to be who he is

We need Dr. Jeckle rather than Mr. Hyde version of Favre. Or is it the other way around? When Favre has a stinker game, ain't nothing you can do about it.

The defensive line has to play better if the Packers are going to make it through Dallas.

Is it finally at the point where a proud franchise turns its weary eyes towards Gilbert Brown?
