The practice squad guys are always effectively free agents.

Right now, I believe they have only 2 RBs on their 53 man squad; Ron Dayne and Darius Walker. Beach was the only RB on their practice squad and likely was signed as insurance against yet another injury this week. You might even see Beach signed to the active roster before the game.Comment
