I liked the comment about the other two undefeated teams in the regular season. The Bears went undefeated twice in the 30's but lost the championship game each time. Only the Fins won out.Originally posted by pbmaxExactly, irregardless of arguments to the contrary.

You might be getting a tad ahead of yourself.

I look more at 17-0, which is what the Dolphins were after the Super Bowl victory that season. If the Patriots win the Super Bowl this year, then they might be considered better than the '72 Dolphins, although you can only tie a perfect season; just happens they play a couple more games now.Originally posted by RastakOne last point....how does 14-0 match 16-0?"Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts." -Daniel Patrick Moynihan

Originally posted by Deputy NutzBetter than that linebacker from Georgia you kept going on about, Thurman I believe his name was, whatever happened to that guy?Originally posted by BretskyTANK is somewhere pointing out that Green Bay should have drafted Logan Mankins instead of Aaron Rodgers
Remember me raving about GB finding ways to draft the Bulldog Bath Brothers ?
Thomas Davis, Odell Thurman (who you refer to), and David Pollack
Davis is a player
Thurman is a terrible terrible person
I have no idea how Pollack ever turned outTERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

I really like Thomas Davis in that draft, although it has taken him a couple of years to develop into a player in the NFL. He was a tweener coming out of college, part safety, part linebacker, I think he has finally become a full time safety.

I didn't see the second half but didn't Giants rookie TE Kevin Boss perform well? He caught 4 passes--one of them for a touchdown.
He took over for Jeremy Shockey after Shockey's broke his leg.
Boss played college ball for Western Oregon, a Division III school out of tiny Monmouth, Oregon.
Not too many Division III players end up starting their rookie year in the pros.

Agreed. I don't think I have ever rooted against a team for so many games this season as the Patriots. Let's not crown 'em yet though. They've got a tough road ahead.Originally posted by PlantPage55Rodney Harrison - what a f'n jerk. That guy is nothing but a mouthy, pushy mother.
I'm tired of this whole team. At least the Colts are good guys with a decent coach. Not a bunch of arrogant pricks with an asshole-acting coach.
A more unlikeable bunch of winners, I've never seen.
