    No respect.



    Cleveland became just the fifth team to miss the postseason despite winning 10 games.
    They didn't include the '89 Packers on the list. I had to post here. It bugged me, but ESPN makes it impossible to contact somebody to vent.

      Other teams missing the playoffs at 10-6 or better include:
      1979 Redskins
      1980 Patriots
      1981 Broncos
      1985 Redskins, Broncos (who were 11-5)
      1986 Seahawks, Bengals,
      1988 Saints, Giants
      1989 Packers, Redskins

      At the very least they should have qualified their statement with "since the playoffs expanded to 12 teams in 1990", since that's clearly what the editorial staff was thinking.

        Nevermind, Lurker covered my post far more succinctly than I did.
        Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.
