Not a whole lot of evidence but gut feelings that anybody else is better than Williams. Muhr, while a different type of player, may have looked just as good as Harell last week
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Agree and when a guy says that all he wants is a fair price, well to that player, that may mean a 5yr-30-38mil price with a hefty bonus, no thanks.

I want Williams back. We don't even know yet if Jolly can stay healthy an entire season.

EDIT: I would also be looking at what happens to "Big Ol'" Grady Jackson after this season as well. Damn he looked good in the game against Pitt. The difference between him and Pickett is Grady doesn't just hold the point, he collapses the pocket on his way to the QB.

I suspect TT will continue to add players on the DL. DL, OL, Secondary are the positions he has to continue to address imo.

Williams can really go flog himself because after the season he no longer will be a Packer again. Unfortunately for the Packers they play a defensive system that relies heavily on a strong defensive tackle rotation. Look at all of our injuries at defensive tackle, it should be clear to the Packers that they need 6 quality defensive tackles to start the season.

It wouldn't surprise me if at 11:59 TT slaps some kind of tag on him so they can keep him at a market price, or get something out of him.

Williams was gone when the Packers picked in the first round last year. Harrell will be a player, he'll probably be the one to replace Pickett when his contract is up(along with Jolly). All the Harrell-haters are going to have to come around some time, this guy isn't the next flop, he's our future on the D-line.

The situation right now is now different than with Aaron Kampman at the end of '05. His contract expired and between the end of the season and the start of free agency they signed him (in March, just before the Fan Fest weekend).

The same could happen with Williams, depending on what each expects out of a deal. I'm inclined toward believing he will ask for too much.

I saw Grady go in for Henderson last night, but did he get to the QB? There isn't much speed left in those wheels. He had no rush in him when he left the Pack.

Bud Adams told me the franchise he admired the most was the Kansas City Chiefs. Then he asked for more hookers and blow.

I'm pretty sure he got 1/2 a sack on one play. He collapsed the pocket pretty well on that particular play.

Yeah, but you didn't see anybody going thru the A gap. Gravy was in there sopping up the gravy. That guy still holds the point as good as any DT in the game. He gets run off teams cause he's such a fat slob, but the big man can still play.
