Brett only threw for 200 yds, but I thought that was the best performance by an athlete that I've seen in a while. He didn't make one mistake at a position where fast decisions are made for 60 minutes. He completed 70% of his passes. He gave his teammate support when he was down. He threw amazing passes. While he didn't force anything, he still managed to make a couple WOW plays. That was just GREAT QB play. GREAT.Originally posted by FritzDontBlitz
I am waiting to see them overanalyze Romo the way they overanalyze every pick Brett throws. Since they are constantly trying to compare them.
Brett played the game of his life. If he plays like he did yesterday it's going to be very hard for any team to beat the Packers.Formerly known as JustinHarrell.

Just goes to show you what pressuring the QB can do. Romo was rattled all game long. Was throwing under pressure.Originally posted by gbgaryi think it's more of a cowboy's defensive failure than the offense. and hey...the ny defense needs a ton of credit. One time Lombardi was disgusted with the team in practice and told them they were going to have to start with the basics. He held up a ball and said: "This is a football." McGee immediately called out, "Stop, coach, you're going too fast," and that gave everyone a laugh.

Romo actually wasn't under pressure until the 4th quarter...when the GIants stepped up their pressure considerably.Originally posted by Maxie the TaxiJust goes to show you what pressuring the QB can do. Watched the whole game with some buds - Raider/Bear fans that hate Dallas.
Can't believe we all sweated those Bears' losses that cost HFA.

he got knocked around and chased. the much balihooed (sp) dallas offensive line didn't hold up and the running game disappeared for dallas in the second half. romo got rattled a little too.Originally posted by Maxie the TaxiThey didn't get to him but they put pressure on him.Originally posted by The LeaperRomo actually wasn't under pressure until the 4th quarter...when the GIants stepped up their pressure considerably.Originally posted by Maxie the TaxiJust goes to show you what pressuring the QB can do.
