Many of you probably are unaware how Tyrone became a crackhead, living in a cardboard box in downtown Scottsdale (as an aside, Tyrone does have space in his box for one or two Rats to crash at during the Superbowl week. Females preferred. FYI: Bring your own blanket and towels, as tyrone doesn't have any guest linens).

Tyrone was a fairhaired golden boy living in Wisconsin. Athletic and straightedge, Tyrone eschewed drugs, alcohol and premarital sex. The strongest drink that passed my lips was some hard cider that sat in the fridge too long.

But, then came Super Bowl XXXII.

It was that loss that sent Tyrone stumbling down the black hole. NEVER TO RECOVER.

Thanx, to Charter House (you don't have to get help at Charter, but get help somewhere) Tyrone is now trying to get his life back together. Yes, there are days or months when i'm not so strong. Yes, I do like to go on month benders, but I AM IN RECOVERY.

Tyrone doesn't know if he can handle another Superbowl loss. But, he knows for sure that he can't handle a blowout loss. Tyrone would be sure to relapse.

Tyrone couldn't take the bombardment of Patriot highlights for the next 50 years, endless steve sabol narrations of "greatest losses," or the barrage of Leno one liners.

Tyrone would rather lose to the Gmen then get blown out in the Superbowl.
