  • One of the most historical upsets in the history of the Super Bowl

Will be hard to ever forget the catch by David Tyree
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

    • While the Giants may have not been the most talented - they have been playing with tons of heart.

Living in Patland - they were so confident - I kept on telling them that the Giants have been winning when they were supposed to lose - so don't count them out.

I am going to enjoy tomorrow.

And while the Pack loss stung - imagine going undefeated and losing in the SB. That must really suck.

big upset, brings the title back to the NFC for the first time since the Bucs won it in 2001.

Kind of takes a little of the sting out of our choke versus the Broncos.

          • Patriots sold out everything this year. Bruschi, Harrison, Seau, Moss, Samuel, Vrable. . . .

All guys who are either aging or likely to be gone in UFA because the Pats are against the cap after their spending spree.

anyone expect anything less than that from him?? They (refs) were trying to stop him when he was only about 10 yards on the field and he just kept on pushing and going croos field. Classless personified

Agreed - that will be analyzed as much as when the Packers lost and Holmgren's decisions were questioned for a decade. I'm actually glad NY won - we lost to the best and cheaters don't prosper!
I don't believe the Giants are the best in the league, Although they got it done in the big game.
Beat 3 road teams and an undefeated Pats. 10 (or 11) straight road wins. Dominating defense. They got hot at the right time and played left it all out there.

Would GB have beaten Pats today - not if they played like they did 2 weeks ago. If they played 2 weeks ago like they played 3 weeks ago - then I would've said yes.

Ahhh, he had already shaken the hand of the opposing coach, the clock showed game over. I'll cut him a break.

                      • Just think the Packers gave the Giants more of a run then the Pats. At least the Packer force over time.

                        • Wow!

                          Congratulations to the Giants.

They have been maligned and disrespected and the Patriots are no freaking near as good as everyone thinks.

Only one thing could have been sweeter than to watch Bellicheck run across the field with a scowl on his face to shake Tom Coughlin's hand, and that would have been seeing Bellicheck run across the field with a scowl on his face to shake Mike McCarthy's hand.
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

                          • The Giants won because of their D-line - I don't think the Pack's (at least at the end of the year) could have done the same thing. Plus, they blitzed heavily, and I don't see Sanders doing the same.

                              • where's Moss and his smart ass antics now?

I hope the Packers brain trust took a look at that Giants defense. Came out of nowhere...
