SuperBowl losers rarely do well the next year and with the cloud of retirements, scandals and age in general, this team's era has now ended. The pats may be back but it won't be for a few years at the earliest.

will be interesting. The Pats have been masters of staying on top these past years. This year will be tougher than others...many players are near the end of their careers. Will any of the starting LB's be back? But I wouldn't count them out.--
Imagine for a moment a world without hypothetical situations...

I hope they completely fall apart and that asswipe Randy Moss never gets a Super Bowl ring and he stays a turd on a turd team. Belichick showed his true colors pulling a randy moss tonight walking off the field while his team had to stay on the field for the final 1 second of humiliation to run by on the game clock. Surprised the asswipe even shook Coflins hand.

I wouldn't count them out but their best days are behind them. This is a devastating loss that will suck the life out of them for some time.
They gagged it up on the biggest stage on the verge of perfection. It's the end of an era. A tainted era.

I AGREE nUTZ AND I ALSO AGREE THAT THEY WILL BE LOOKING TO TRADE DOWN. My bet is that BB will be gone before next year.Pass Jessica's Law and keep the predators behind bars for 25 years minimum. Vote out liberal, SP judges. Enforce all immigrant laws!

It reminded me of the feelings I had after the 97 Packers lost. I think the 97 Packers were a little cocky and thought the SB win was theirs before they even walked on the field, same with the 08 Pats.Originally posted by Deputy NutzThere loss reminds me of the Packers 1997 super bowl loss. The team was old on defense and the offense had some free agents.
