I started a thread last year after the bears lost to the Colts. I said the bears wouldn't make the playoff the next season and I was right. I am going on a limb here Pats are not going to make the playoffs next season. Belichick will retire or be suspended for a year. Only 3 teams since '96 super bowl that lost made it back to the playoffs.

How accurate was this.PostPosted: Mon Feb 12, 2007 8:04 pm Post subject: Reply with quote Edit/Delete this post
here is another thing to think about. Before last year season started a lot of people I talked too thought the Giants would win 11 to 12 games this season. I kept telling them they played a hard schedule. They wouldn't listen to me.
That playing a hard schedule teams get beat up by the end of the season. Giants lost a lot of starters through out the season. I think the Bears would have a lot of injuries this next season due to the harder schedule. This year they lost 2 players and there defense wasn't the same even with a easy schedule....

I think they'll make the playoffs. I can't see anybody else in their division right now beating them. I think they'll drop back to 10-12 victories (depending on if they resign Randy Moss)."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

If they were in a more competitive division, I could see them having a hangover. But who is going to beat them in the AFC East?
At this point, I have to say yes...although this is pretty early to post this poll, because we have no idea how many of their FAs will be back. I'm just guessing that most will be back.My signature has NUDITY in it...whatcha gonna do?

Dolphins? No.
Jets? Unlikely.
Bills? Possible, but doubtful.
Who is there to challenge them? I think the #1 seed next year in the AFC will not be either the Colts or the Pats. Maybe San Diego, maybe Pittsburgh. Wouldn't be surprised if the Ravens got it."I've got one word for you- Dallas, Texas, Super Bowl"- Jermichael Finley

Don't the Patriots have like the seventh easiest schedule in the history of the league?
I mean, they play AFC division winners. But they play in the East (with two terrible teams and one average team), and then both the NFC and AFC West.
They could lose half of their players from this year and still win 12 games. They'll make the playoffs.</delurk>

I would be effin shocked if the Ravens took the #1 seed. Who's going to play QB? Boller or Troy Smith?Originally posted by BallHawkWouldn't be surprised if the Ravens got it.
Jim Harbaugh as the coach? Color me skeptical.Originally posted by 3irty1This is museum quality stupidity.
