I think the 1978 Steelers ring is the best looking, for some reason it really catches your eye.IMO.

Had a friend who boiught and sold jewelery, gold and diamonds. He dealt with dealers and sales people all over the world. He had many tales of down on their luck players that sold their SB rings for a song. He told me one of a guy who is now dead who allegedly sold his SB ring for $200.

To get an idea, check out '76 on that site.

Skip Thomas of the Raiders hocked his SB ring for $800. Never saw it again.
