Here's an article and picture from when he won the 2003 NCAA 200 meter outdoor title:
and the 2004 Indoor title:
AN interesting quote from his track coach:
"I can't say enough about him," KU track and field coach Stanley Redwine said. "First of all, you have to thank the football coaches for giving him the opportunity to do track because the guy loves track and he also loves football. He's already a Big 12 champion in the 200, but my goal is to see him play Sundays (in the NFL) in football. I think track is definitely a means to help him do that."
A comment from his freshman year:
"He didn't start any games last fall, but was named the special teams player of the week once."
I think he will be a very interesting story. Looking on a KU discussion board, a number of members recalled his blazing speed getting him behind defenders, followed by drops of sure touchdown passes. He started out as a safety his Freshman year.

the n.f.l. is full of fast guys with no hands. they play defense. holmy didn't tolerate guys who dropped the ball. we'll have to wait to see if mac is the same way. his speed might keep him on the team or p-squad.it'll be an interesting comp in t.c. between the young recievers for the 5th and maybe 6th spots.Think I'll roll another number for the road.
I HATE everything about the Minnesota Vikings

Swede: My expertise in this area is extensive. The essential difference between a "battleship" and an "aircraft carrier" is that an aircraft carrier requires five direct hits to sink, but it takes only four direct hits to sink a battleship.
