That players are receiving, reviewing, and signing contracts a few minutes after the FA period officially starts at midnight, I think it's safe to say they work out quite a few behind closed doors ahead of time. An analyst on sports radio yesterday says a lot of teams pull this trick nowadays. Pressure's on those that don't cheat ahead because they're losing FAs to teams that do, so apparently now many do 'cheat' in this way.Comment
