  • Rotowire has Vilma going Saints and Rosenfels going to Vikes

Saints look to making some big time moves and if they somehow lock down Samuels as well could make for a serious contender for next year.

Vikes supposedly giving up a 3rd for Rosenfels is hilarious. Guess the chance of the TJack era are decreasing. Can't believe Sage is worth a 3rd though.
60% of the time it works every time.

KFAN is reporting that the Vikings are no longer interested in Sage (maybe the price tag was too high), but they may be interested in trading for J.P. Losman.
"There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

I would think the Vikes would be prime for trading for Derrick Anderson. Apparently they think they can draft better than a probowl QB.

Hey, we got Toledo and traded WIlliams. That's a lot more action than we had last year.

We even have some guy coming in for a visit!

Free agency is like crack. The first hit is always the best...and then you chase the dragon.

We (Packer fans) complain every FA period. But look at our record (13-3). Teams like the 49ers, Redskins, Vikings and Dolphins go after "big name" free agents all the time and look at their records. Fool's gold my friends! We're going to rock the NFC north again this year!

Thank you for posting that... That is what I was thinking today when FA started... I would be more satisfied if the packers just had a solid DRAFT class and picked up maybe a guard in FA to compete... Other than that FA is pretty overrated in my book, you cannot go out and "buy" your team to a Superbowl...

There are only a few missing pieces to the puzzle... With a first and two second round picks, I think the packers can fill in the holes...

                        Good point .
I will add . If you are going to add a FA at a much higher price tag . You better make DAMN sure the player he is replacing is worse. That could cause a big trickle down effect.

Couldn't agree more. Having a solid draft is way more important to me then signing some of these over-paid free agents.
