  • What are his teammates saying?

ESPN has Hawk on the phone. Said he think Favre was just worn down and that he has nothing left to prove. Also said he think the Pack will be able to contend with ARod because of what Rodgers learned sitting behind Favre.

Any other comments available? I want to know what DD and Jennings have to say.

Those MFers at ESPN, announcing him as the last player to catch a pass from Favre, are talking to Ginats CB Corey Webster about his pick at the end of the NFC title game. He just said that Favre's last throw wasn't a bad decision, just needed to be more outside. Said he feels happy he is part of history. He is being real cool about it but ESPN is trying their hardest to get him to talk shit. Thats why you cant believe anything the sorry bastards say.

Screw off. Now is not the time to lighten up.

If ESPN had said "the last male prostitute to catch an STD from Harlan Huckleby" it would have bothered me just as much. Just cause it's true doesn't mean they have to rub it in.

Above all else, this is what the Packers will miss the most.

"He takes the game seriously but he knows how to relax the people around him," tackle Earl Dotson once said. "You look in those eyes and you know he thinks it can be done, so you think it's possible."

Mad don't need a knife to carve somebody up!
[QUOTE=George Cumby] ...every draft (Ted) would pick a solid, dependable, smart, athletically limited linebacker...the guy who isn't doing drugs, going to strip bars, knocking around his girlfriend or making any plays of game changing significance.

Convince him to stay one more year so I can go back to Lambeau and watch him one more time...

Bust up the ESPN headquarters for being so disrespectful to Favre on the day he retired. Some schmuck on ESPN radio who co-hosts an afternoon show was saying Favre was lucky to make the top 10 best NFL QBs! A baseball guy came to the rescue and told him he was nuts.
