What Mad, ya thought some wild eyed Nall supporter would come out of the woodwork?

I did have problems with Rodgers at first. He had lousy pocket awareness and his footwork was ordinary. (Going on Pre-season and the Balt game here)

But he turned me around. He learned and got much better. He was freaking masterful in the Dallas game. I think he's ready.

      Will I root for him?

      Hell yeah.

I once rooted for Randy Wright to take us to the dance, why not Aaron Rodgers?

If Rodgers plays like he did against the Cowboys, I'll be rooting for him.

        Positives :
        mobility
        playing within the system

        Negatives :
        Favre's experience, ability to audible
        long ball?
        injury prone
more freedom, less government. Go Sarah!

I rooted for TT to draft Arod when he was still there in the draft, and I'm glad he did. He showed in the Dallas game that he can take the team down the field and score. We can't expect him to be like Favre, but he didn't throw a lot of picks in college and I don't think he will in the pros either. MM just needs to play to Arods strengths, with a good draft and an already solid team, I can see the Pack winning the NFC North again and going far in the playoffs, despite the crap that ESPN spews out.
          Thanks Ted!

                We can only hope.

Here's to it NOT being like the transition of Aikman, Marino, and Elway to..um..um..who replaced them again?

Hell, I was a Packer fan living In Illinois during the Tagge/Hadl/Wright years. Supporting Rodgers is no big deal.

All of we Packer fans need to remind ourselves to be patient with Rodgers. He will never be a Brett Favre, nor should he try to be.

He needs to be the best Aaron Rodgers he can be.
i think you said it the best,
Lets face it i dont think he will be coming back, so lets root for the quarterback that follows the best QB of all time.

I'm very excited to see Rodgers. I don't expect much, but it will be fun to see what he can do regardless.

No question I'm rooting for Rodgers. I've always been in his corner, too. I'm sure he'll have a bad game or two his first year as a starter, but I feel very optimistic about the long run. I hope he makes the 49ers wish they'd taken him instead of Alex Smith
Teamwork is what the Green Bay Packers were all about. They didn't do it for individual glory. They did it because they loved one another.

I'll cheer/support ARod - but I have serious questions about his durability. If he makes it through or starts half the games, I'll be pleasantly surprised. And that's not Rodgers hating - it's his history over the last two games he's played in...

And we better stop screwing around in FA and get a semi reliable backup QB (or two) OR draft someone before the 4th/5th round. We did get a decent boost in available cap spending (i think).
The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

I've been an avid AR supporter from the get go! Favre is still special to me; special to us all - yet we are Packer fans and I even supported Anthony Dilweg

Why wouldn't you root for Rodgers? He's the best QB we have. Now the question is, who do you bring in to back him up? I vote for a veteran, but I'm not sure much is out there.
