Hearing Max's voice saddened me.

While watching the stream of Favre highlights on ESPN today, I was saddened to hear a voice from the past.

Showing Favre completing a phenomenal pass, the audio had play-by-play announcer Jim Erwin calling the action. Then the added enthusiastic comment of the late co-announcer Max McGee came through the audio. Hearing Max's voice truly saddened me.

McGee was as important to the Packers organization after his playing days as he was during his playing days.
