He averaged 23.8. You can watch and see he's no longer dynamic at returning kicks. He had a couple of flukey plays with bad tackling. He looks like the kick return equivalent of Noah Herron. Tramon Williams averaged 22.8 and offers more upside. There's Will Blackmon also. Maybe he looks better next year after a full training camp, but if he doesn't improve this offseason, he won't be with the team in 2008."There's a lot of interest in the draft. It's great. But quite frankly, most of the people that are commenting on it don't know anything about what they are talking about."--Ted Thompson

I think he could have had at least one return for a touchdown if he wasn't chased down from behind. He had a nice average but I just can't say I was really impressed with him.Originally posted by HarveyWallbangersHe averaged 23.8. You can watch and see he's no longer dynamic at returning kicks. The guy average almost 24 yards a return. Granted, that isn't an elite number, but it is pretty damn good.Originally posted by Deputy Nutzbut he was simply slow while returning kicks
I'll agree he's marginal as a receiver, but he is a very solid returner who knows how to utilize blocking to his advantage. It would be very difficult to find a #4 WR with as much experience and more capability in the return game.
