Brett Favre is coming back — to sell Wrangler jeans.
A spokesperson for North Carolina-based VF Corp., owner of the Wrangler brand, said today that Favre, who last week announced his retirement after 16 years with the Green Bay Packers, will be continuing his relationship with Wrangler.
Last February, Wrangler announced that Favre had signed an endorsement with the brand for 2007. In the Wrangler television spots that ran last year, Favre was featured playing a pickup game of football in a farm field setting.
Wrangler also has an endorsement deal with popular NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt. Jr.
