News: The Buffalo News reports Craig Nall has struggled at the team's recent OTAs.
Impact: This is the second negative report on Nall, who also struggled at minicamp earlier this month. Bills coach Dick Jauron says he's a long way from deciding his starter, but its clear Nall is running third in the QB competition so far. (Mon. May 29, 2006)

Impact: We take minicamp practice reports with a big grain of salt, especially this early. That said, Bills.com thought Kelly Holcomb looked the best of the three candidates to start at quarterback, with J.P. Losman next, and Nall bringing up the rear. (Tue. May 9, 2006)

Eric King picked off a pass by Craig Nall intended for Andre Davis who did slip on the play. The pass was still a bit behind Davis as Nall had a tough day with his reads and accuracy at times. Nall was later intercepted by Terrence McGee in team work on a ball he quickly realized he should not have thrown as he got a bit upset with himself.
Later in team work a lateral pass to Peerless Price was mishandled and rookie defensive tackle Kyle Williams scooped it up and headed the other way. He quickly lateraled the ball to the faster Josh Stamer.

The most recent round of the Bills' quarterback competition did not go very well for Craig Nall. He made some poor reads and struggled with his accuracy at times during Thursday's practice. He also had a couple of passes intercepted.
Nall admitted he needs to work on getting more comfortable with the offense.
"There's certain things I'm comfortable with. It's just we're adding stuff each day and I've got to kind of be on top of it," he said. "I don't think its time to fret. It's still early. We're still in OTAs. When training camp comes around if I'm still at the same spot that I am right now then it's time to panic. I've just got to take each day as it comes and try to get better at something."
