  • Vote for the Packers top 10 games

Pretty cool idea. Everyone be sure to vote! My number one vote was for this year's playoff game against Seattle just because you had it all...snow..Lambeau..playoffs...Favre. I just got goose bumps.

The game after Big Irv died in 2003 should win. That was easily the most focused and most determined I've ever seen a whole team all at once. Greatest team effort I ever saw from any team in any sport.

I'd have to give the Miracle on Ice College Team in the Lake Placid Olympics the cake there; but it was undoubtedly one of the best.
TERD Buckley over Troy Vincent, Robert Ferguson over Chris Chambers, Kevn King instead of TJ Watt, and now, RICH GANNON, over JIMMY JIMMY JIMMY LEONARD. Thank you FLOWER

Good point Brett, I stand corrected. I wasn't thinking of the olympics lol.

I voted for some of the older games. I hope others do, as well. Most of us have seen the recent games. We've seen a replay of the game on NFL Network. We've seen recordings of the games.

This is a cool idea, but if some of the older games aren't on the DVD, it's not as appealing to me.

What needed to be fixed about his post? I don't get it.

IMO, the Seattle game and the Oakland game are the most memorable. I really don't care about the older games because I didn't watch the Packers then.

Gunakor and B agreed that the Olympic hockey win against Russia was a better team effort, but the Olympics are an amateur event, not professional. (at least they were back then).

I don't know, GBR the sight of Reggie White hoisting the trophy he spent his whole career trying to get and that victory lap will stay with me for a while. Good thing you can vote for up to 10.

When I said older games, let me clarify, I mean like before Majik came along. That is when I really started following the Packers. Lived in FL up until then, too. Before the days of Sunday Ticket, the internet, etc. Gosh how did people seriously follow their teams if they lived out of state ?

I'm old school, my favorite Packer game ever was their first NFL championship game against Dallas. The year before the Ice Bowl. What a great game! If that game was played today, would still be considered a classic.
However, its not on the list...so I voted for the Monday night game against the Redskins.
                        Been there done that!

From the list they supply, here's my top 10:

                          1. 1996 SB XXXI - Big plays throughout as Lombardi Trophy returns to Titletown.
                          2. 1967 SB II - Vince's last game on the sidelines caps an era.
                          3. 1995 NFC Div Game - Holmgren's team arrives among the elite.
                          4. 1983 MNF scorefest - Rare 80s win in an all-time classic shootout.
                          5. 2003 MNF Big Irv - Dominating performance in difficult circumstances.
                          6. 1992 Bengals - Favre's frantic rally is a sign of things to come.
                          7. 2003 NFC Wild Card - Sorry Hass...our bad.
                          8. 2007 NFC Div Game - Favre's last win at Lambeau is a (snow)ball.
                          9. 1993 NFC Wild Card - Favre's heave to Sharpe is a winner.
                          10. 1996 NFC Champ - SB ticket punched for the Big Easy.
My signature has NUDITY in it...whatcha gonna do?

I didn't vote for #1 because it's replayed a gazillion times on NFL Network, the season video is replayed a gazillion times on NFL Network, and I have two videos from that season. For me, if I'm going to buy a DVD, I want games that I won't be able to see a bunch of times elsewhere.

                            I voted for:

1968 Super Bowl II - Packers vs. Raiders
1982 NFC Divisional Playoff - Packers vs. Cardinals
1983 Packers 48, Redskins 47. Highest scoring MNF game ever
1992 Favre Comes Off The Bench And Stuns Bengals
1993 NFC Wild Card Playoff - Packers vs. Lions
1994 Packers vs. Falcons - Favre runs into end zone on final play
1995 Packers vs. Bears - Brett throws for five TDs
1995 NFC Divisional Playoffs - Packers vs. 49ers
1996 Packers vs. 49ers - Favre throws 61 passes in overtime win
1997 Packers vs. Vikings - Favre throws 5 tds
2003 Packers Vs. Raiders - Favre Stars In Tribute To Father
